Choir season runs from early September through late May/early June.
 
Thursday rehearsals 7:30-9:30 p.m.    Sundays 10 a.m. rehearsal, 11 a.m. service.
 
Additional services with rehearsal preceding include four annual choral evensongs, Christmas Eve, Holy Week (Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday),
 
Christmas and Easter Day services are sung with professional brass quintet.
 
Choral repertoire ranges from plainsong through to present day “Classic” works including music of the Anglican/Episcopal tradition.
 
Strong sight-singing and musicianship skills required, and a congenial, supportive personality as section leader and choir member.   Music is expected to be learned outside of rehearsals also.   Attendance at rehearsals and services is to be reliable and punctual.
 
Audition requirements:
 
1.   Two prepared short works (either solo or a choral part) of contrasting style and period:  one from the 18th century or earlier, and one from the 19th century or later.   Please bring an extra copy for the accompanist.
 
2.  Sight-sing two short choral works (tenor part) with accompaniment.
 
3.  Some vocalizing
