$96 per Sunday, or $32 hourly Located on the corner of 8th and H Streets NW (Gallery Place Metro), historic Calvary Church is a progressive congregation and the founding home of American Baptists, serving in downtown DC for over 150 years.  Worship at Calvary is based on Common Lectionary and follows the liturgical calendar, utilizing Chalice Hymnal for congregational singing, incorporating both Spanish and English in our speaking and singing each Sunday.  Calvary’s 55-rank Moller-Wicks organ serves as the primary worship  instrument.  Repertoire is eclectic, varied but classically based.  We strive for excellence in all we do—Calvary’s Sanctuary Choir is small but very fine.  We are growing, we work hard, and we enjoy a friendly atmosphere of warm fellowship in Choir and in the Calvary community.
