St. Andrew’s is seeking a fully COVID vaccinated alto section leader to help lead their section in a volunteer choir. Calls are 9 a.m. warm-up and rehearsal; 10 a.m. service; 11:30-12:30 p.m. rehearsal for $150/week. There are no midweek rehearsals. The choir of Grace Episcopal Church in The Plains, VA (40 miles west of DC) has an immediate opening (beginning September 12) for an Alto section leader.  From September to June, the choir sings for the weekly 10:30 am Eucharist on Sunday mornings.  Section leaders are paid $110 per call.  Additional calls include one service of Choral Evensong, one service of Lessons and Carols, Christmas Eve, and Holy Week services.

Chevy Chase United Methodist Church is seeking an alto choral scholar to serve as a section leader in our Sanctuary Choir from September 2021-May 2022. Rehearsals are Thursday nights from 7 - 8:30 PM and Sunday call is 9 AM for a 10 AM service. Compensation is $90 per service and $75 per rehearsal, with additional payment provided for concerts and extra services.
