St. Paul's Parish, K Street (at 25th Street near the Foggy Bottom/GWU metro), is looking for a paid tenor section leader to begin immediately.
As part of a process to reconstitute a vocal group for our Sunday services, whether it be a church choir, a schola, a quartet, or cantor/soloist, the ideal leaders will have a voice with a clarity of tone best suited to choral singing repertory, in particular, Bach and baroque. Experience working with others in a volunteer choir is a plus. This is a regular paid position and substitute positions will be considered.
Fourth Presbyterian Church in Bethesda, MD is seeking a paid tenor section leader. This position would begin in February and requires availability on Thursday evenings from 7:45-9:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings for an 11:00 a.m. service with a warm-up at 10:15 a.m.. Singers are reimbursed $135 per Sunday and $80 per rehearsal, plus additional compensation for any special services or rehearsals.
Hiring: a tenor section leader to sing with our traditional choir at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Derwood Maryland. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m., and we sing regularly at the 9:30 a.m. Sunday Mass. (September through mid-June) Occasionally, there are additional calls such as Ash Wednesday evening, Good Friday, Easter Vigil, etc. $75/call. It is also possible to increase earnings by serving as a cantor.
