Studying voice is like a traveler embarking on a voyage with limitless horizons. One must be open to new adventures, have courage to try new things, step out of one’s comfort zone and be hungry for knowledge. My job as a performing teacher is to be your guide. I draw upon yoga (breath support, posture, relaxation, acting techniques, (Stanislavsky, Hagen, Meisner) and conservatory vocal pedagogy, so that no matter what style of music, your technique will be healthy and your true voice will ring forth.

As a teacher, my goal is to help each student find the healthiest, most sustainable way to express themself in whichever musical style(s) they choose. Lessons involve learning how the vocal instrument works and exploring sonic possibilities in a fun, non-judgmental way as we build the foundational skills needed to make the sounds you want with freedom and joy. Beginners of all ages and shy singers especially welcome: I believe that each person has a beautiful voice inside, just waiting to be discovered. It is my passion to help each singer discover that unique voice.
